Awesome!I've got my suspension dialed in...after several different adjustments for different conditions...right now...with the 'new' tires(have around 1500 or so miles on em)all damping settings are at
"std" in the manual. The front preload,5 lines.Rear preload, tightened down about 1/3 inch tighter.IDK millimeter wise..but it's a 'tad' stiffer. She's railing like...well...she's on rails!Very nice smooth straight line riding feel...and cornering...smooth,planted.She dips right in and holds like crazy!

Okay...sounds good then.It could be less...that's 8.5mm from the factory setting(tighter).I think I turned the ring about 3 turns tighter?Something like that.Maybe two...it wasn't a bunch of turns.

Let me throw this in...just in case anyone's wondering...I've tried like crazy with my 07,and now my 12(not so much my 12)to get the high speed cornering wiggle OUT.It didn't appear until hitting close to triple digits leaned over.Almost regardless of the road surface...it seemed to always want to show itself at particular speeds and corners.I've come now to the conclusion of just what is causing this deal.TIRES.I had my suspension(on both bikes) cranked fairly stiff according to what the instructions were saying in the manual. It hit me today....maybe I'm reading this wrong.I started looking at those numbers...and the 'conditions' associated with em.Suddenly...I was seeing a Drag Racer going down the track. Not that resetting the bike's suspension and stiffening up some won't help the carving performance and all...but....I did a bit of an experiment TODAY.I reset all my damping settings back to the manual stock 'std' factory settings.Only the preloads have been stiffened..but not by much.I went out...rode my regular course...NO WIGGLE at ANY speed. It would have been 'trying' to a week ago with those used Metzlers on there...even with more aggresive suspension dialings on there.I had it like that then.I can only conclude here...that the rubber somehow must get hard after time and carving...and maybe loses a teensy amount of grip causing the chassis to wiggle just a tad when trying to grip in a turn.Front and back tire or both doing this.

It PROBABLY will not be noticed or even do it at anything around legal speeds. No matter what shape the tires are in.Lesson learned here I think...when she gets to wigglin...start thinkin about new rubber.Dialing the suspension in can help...for a little while. But it'll stop being effective and your bike will NOT feel smooth and vibe free the more you try to adjust poor tire condition out.
